John Rooney is an alumnus of the University of Southern California, where he majored in Political Science with a concentration in Cross-National and Regional Politics and a minor in Sports Media Industries. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society in 2023.

While at USC, John was the Internal Programming Officer of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity. Additionally, he spent the summer of 2022 completing coursework on European policy modeling and contemporary challenges to the European Union at the American University of Paris in France.

John plans to attend graduate school in the next few years and to pursue a career in International Affairs.
